What is ATOMAC+ Pediatric Trauma Research Network?
What began as ATOMAC+, a collaboration among physician researchers from Phoenix Children’s, Dell Children’s, Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, the Children’s Hospital at Oklahoma University, Le Bonheur Children’s, and Arkansas Children’s Hospitals, has now evolved into the A+ Pediatric Trauma Research Network (A+PTRN). These early pioneers recognized that pediatric trauma research is limited when conducted by individual hospitals and that a multicenter collaborative network could generate higher-quality evidence to improve care at pediatric trauma centers everywhere.
Today, A+PTRN has expanded to 32 member institutions, continuing its mission to advance pediatric trauma research through multicenter collaboration, answering the most pressing clinical questions, and improving outcomes for injured children.
Our Mission
To inspire and drive world-class pediatric trauma research through fostering robust multi-center collaboration.
